As part of its series of training of trainers (TOT) on agroecological practices for environment-friendly and climate resilient cacao cultivation, the Sustainable Farming in Tropical Asian Landscapes (SFITAL) Project conducted a TOT on Soil Health and Fertility Management as Agroecological Practice for Cacao Cultivation last 26-27 June 2024 in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro. Over 30 field extensionists, farmer leaders, and representative from partner academic institutions were trained during this activity.
Our colleague from CIFOR-ICRAF Indonesia, Endri Martini, also shared the soil and water conservation practices they are doing in the SFITAL sites in Indonesia.
