[PHOTO SET] Training of Trainers on Biologically based Approaches to Managing Pests and Diseases and Soil Fertility for Cacao

The Sustainable Farming in Tropical Asian Landscapes (SFITAL) Project conducted a Training of Trainers on Biologically based Approaches to Managing Pests and Diseases and Soil Fertility for Cacao last 23-24 September 2024 at Cafe Noventa, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro. Around 30 agricultural technicians joined the said training.

With resource persons from the Department of Agriculture – Davao Regional Crop Protection Center and the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, the participants learned about the various bio-contral agents and biofertilizers that they can use.

This TOT is part of the series of trainings that SFITAL has been conduction on agroecological practices for environment-friendly and climate resilient cacao cultivation.
