This report details highlights of the inception workshop for the implementation of the Sustainable Cacao Roadmap for Davao de Oro 2025-2030, Vision to 2050 held last 3 April 2025. The workshop served as a venue for PAGRO to provide updates on the integration of the roadmap into a provincial policy and on its implmentation. It also allowed SFITAL to present the initial form of the online monitoring and evaluation platform for the roadmap.
The said workshop also provided the SFITAL team an opportunity to gather lessons learned from the project, particularly in terms of roadmap development, creation of co-investment schemes, promotion of agroecological practices, and knowledge managements.
