Last 27 February 2024, stakeholders of Davao de Oro’s cacao industry convened for the first planning workshop for the development of a Sustainable Cacao Roadmap for the province. Facilitated by the Sustainable Farming in Tropical Asian Landscapes (SFITAL) Project in the Philippines, the first planning workshop aimed to establish the context and rationale for the development of a provincial roadmap, determine the key aspects of sustainable cacao production and development based on the perspective of key stakeholders, and identify initial vision and key strategies for the roadmap.

This activity report presents the highlights of the presentations and results of the discussions among participants during the said workshop. The program is also in this report.
